  • PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds datamine suggests desert map name changes
    Time: Nov. 27, 2017

The Playerunknowns Battlegrounds Xbox One Key Global have undergone many changes recently, as the developer Bluehole prepares to launch PC version 1.0 and an Xbox One version. Although they are testing functions such as Vaulting, Killcam and Enhanced Physics in the game's PTR, the release date of version 1.0 and the new and long-awaited desert map have not yet been confirmed.

However, it does not look long before the desert map is ready. A datamined image of the game's archives through the reddit hugh bizzfarts series shows what appears to be the last design of the Desert Card, almost complete picture, with whimsical names and all.

Unfortunately, this means that there is no more Murderland or Kill Box, but Santa Domingo, El Pozo and other names poorly translated into Spanish.

The map has appeared once again since the last dated image we saw two weeks ago, once again from the wonderful Bizzfarts.

In addition, Bizzfarts also took pictures of three new weapons that could appear on the new map: a Winchester 1894 (rifle lever), a Rhino (revolver) and a double sawed shotgun. Although the three weapons would be a great addition to the new Wild West style sand map, there is no confirmation that they will actually be seen in the future.
