Arsenal Star: Mesut Özil's ranking slipsTime: Sep. 10, 2018
Mesut Özil of Arsenal fell 29 places and EA Sports continued to publish the ratings of its FIFA 19 Origin CD Key players.
After receiving 88 points in the previous edition, Özil dropped to 86, from the 32nd best player in the world to 61. His speed, shots, passes, drills and physical values decreased.
Özil is in the final classification of the Manchester City quartet Leroy Sane, Fernandinho, Ederson and Nicolas Otamendi, who also have 86 points.
Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino is another new face among the top 100.
Bayern Trio Thiago, Thomas Mueller and Jerome Boateng are also present. Boateng is another to make a substantial fall in the standings, now at 68 after a 33 place last year. Müller now has 20 places less than 67.
The biggest fall, however, concerns Thiago. Like Özil, he scored 88 in Fifa 18, but 86 in the previous edition, which means a drop of 62 for the best player in the world.
