  • Hitman 2 performance analysis: What is needed for 60fps?
    Time: Jan. 3, 2019

Hitman 2 Steam CD Key is essentially more than its predecessor, which is not a bad thing.

An important point of discussion is that DX12 has been removed for the new game, which is strange in the previous version. It's even more confusing, considering that Hitman was one of the best implementations of DX12. This speaks of the additional work required to maintain two separate APIs. With the absence of the AMD brand this turn, the DX12 was apparently considered unnecessary.

In terms of functionality, Hitman 2 is fine with some minor omissions. There are 10 graphical configurations to optimize, but not global presets. You can limit the frame rate to 30 or 60 FPS (with Vsync) or disable Vsync and perform the full unlock. There is also no option to change the field of vision, but it automatically adjusts to its resolution.

Hitman 2 offers 10 graphic configurations without you really knowing what your performance will do if you change it. We tested them all with a GTX 1060 6GB and an RX 580 8GB, with a resolution of 1080p.

In Ultra, the RX 580 has a slight advantage over the GTX 1060. This trend continues as it advances in the different configurations and compares them to the maximum.
